Construction of the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden.
Construction of houses – Houses for civil servants working in Beitbridge was completed.
Construction of Courts in Lupane (almost complete), Chinhoyi (complete), Commercial Court in Harare (complete) and other courts in Provincial capitals.
Refurbishment of medical facilities throughout the country.
Using a loan of the US$200 million obtained from the United Kingdom, we are building 30 new clinics around the country. These include the construction of Cowdry Park Hospital in Bulawayo, Mataga Clinic in Mberengwa, Runyararo Clinic in Chimanimani, for the first phase which is currently underway.
Construction of the Lupane Provincial Hospital is already underway. There are also plans to train medical doctors at Lupane State University.
Over 100 state-of-the-art ambulances have since been commissioned and distributed across the country.
Murehwa District Government Complex was officially opened and it houses different ministries in an effortto bring services closer to the people.
