We are Forever Associate Zimbabwe (FAZ), a private organisation which is duly registered under Zimbabwean Law both as a Trust, under Deed of Trust
Our story has its origins in 2010 when a small group of young students and members of faculty at Solusi University, an institution of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, came together to organise themselves to access business and empowerment opportunities then being offered under Government’s Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Programme.
They went on to register as a Trust, with the support of the then Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs. Their aspirations were, however, frustrated and ultimately thwarted by the retrogressive internal competitive silo-like character of the Inclusive Government of National Unity that was in office from 2009-2013. Consequently, most of the pioneers and founding Trustees abandoned the idea and, naturally, moved on into various other areas of economic endeavour.
In June 2022, the few remaining enthusiasts decided to relaunch FAZ under new Trustees, this time with renewed determination not only to ensure its continued existence but to leverage opportunities availed by the New Dispensation in Zimbabwe for the attainment of its original objectives.
On 12th August 2022, FAZ Trust submitted its application for affiliate status in the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) in terms of Section 16 (2) of the Party Constitution, of which a decision is pending, but this should not preclude any activity. We have no association with the Government or any of its agencies concerning any aspect of our structure, scope of operational activities or choices relevant to our freedom of association.
Our Vision
An economically empowered, fully integrated and politically conscious community of members; assured through continuance, in perpetuity, of ZANU PF’s revolutionary governance of Zimbabwe in line with the aspirations, gains and Ethos of the Liberation Struggle.
Our
Vision
Our Mission
To organise our members to preferentially access opportunities for their economic empowerment, full integration into society and political consciousness; and to contribute, through active mobilisation aimed at winning the hearts and minds of the Electorate, to the continuance, in perpetuity, of the revolutionary governance of Zimbabwe by the ZANU PF Party.
The few years that the FAZ founders spent at Solusi University groomed them into the college Motto, which simply states, “We serve”. We all draw inspiration therefrom.
We live to serve, in answer to our Motherland Zimbabwe’s and ZANU PF’s call to duty in pursuit of national peace, economic development and stability. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Who shall I send? Who will go for us? And I said, “Here I am. Send me!”.
Isaiah 6: Verse 8
We live to serve , in answer to our Motherland Zimbabwe’s and ZANU PF’s call to duty in pursuit of national peace, economic development and stability.
We are strictly guided by the principles of hard honest work, a sense of duty, pride of belonging, patriotism, discipline, teamwork and unity of purpose.
We cherish and uphold the Ethos of Zimbabwe’s Liberation Struggle.
We espouse the political culture and Democratic Market Socialist Ideology, alternatively referred to as Socialism with Zimbabwean Characteristics or Gwara ReGutsaruzhinji, which is the ideology of ZANU PF and, at the same time, the dominant ideology of Zimbabwe.
We will be .humble, disciplined, well-mannered, smartly turned out, dignified and resilient in all our engagements, as a mark of our good character and upbringing.
We will respect elders and the hierarchy of authority; always seeking and speaking truth based on facts; will not engage in idle chatter; and will not make promises that we do not intend to keep.
We espouse zero tolerance to violence, rent-seeking behaviour, drunkenness, drug abuse and corruption.
We shall not damage, seize or steal people’s property.
We shall not talk down to the people, but also take time to listen to their views, needs and aspirations.
Lastly, because we know the value that the people of Zimbabwe attach to their time as they eke out their living, we will respect their time. We will be both punctual and prompt in all our public and private engagements with them.
FAZ FAZ was created to serve the following two purposes:
To promote the economic empowerment and integration of its members into the mainstream national economy by establishing and conducting businesses and facilitating their preferential access to opportunities, either as individuals or organised groups.
To promote Zimbabwe’s economic development, socio-economic wellbeing and political stability by contributing to all programmes and processes that support continuity of governance of the country by ZANU PF.

The Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs was dissolved in April 2015, marking the suspension of the founding political direction and initiatives associated with FAZ.
