Karo Resources opened a platinum Mine in Mhondoro, Mashonaland West Province.
Bravura Zimbabwe finished exploration and is set to start mining in Selous, Mashonaland West, during the beginning of 2023.
Arcadia Lithium started mining lithium in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East Province. There are plans to establish an Energy Park stretching from Darwendale to Mapinga in Mashonaland West Province where they will process minerals like lithium and nickel. There shall be coal-fired power generation as well.
Sabi Star, a Chinese Company, established a lithium mine in Mukwasi and Tagarira Villages in Ward 12, Buhera North Constituency in Manicaland Province.
Grand Sanyuan Copper Smelting Plant was established in Alaska, Chinhoyi
in Mashonaland West Province. The project is 95% complete and is expected to start operations early 2023.
Dinson Colliery Coking Coal Plant was established in Hwange, Matabelaland North Provinces. The project is expected to produce 180 000 tonnes of coking coal per year, generating about US$54 million in revenue. The company is already operating.
Resuscitation of Shamva Gold Mine in Shamva, Mashonaland Central Province, which is owned by Kuvimba Resources, and Eureka Mine in Guruve, also in Mashonaland Central Province, which
is owned by Dalagio Investments. The mines are already operating.
Afrochine investment at Manhize at the border of Chivhu and Mvuma districts.
